Full Description

The Newest Shavehead Rivet, sold exclusively at Byler Rivet!

The unique Shave Head Bulb-tite blind rivet is set with a standard rivet gun and breaks high. Once set, the excess mandrel is nipped using the specialty RV 57 Side Nippers (#497609). The installation is then finished by using the HS310-6S Shaving Tool (#497608) to polish the rivet head. Once assembled, Shaved Bulb-tite blind rivet heads match the appearance of a solid rivet.

Benefits:

  • Eliminates total panel tear-out & refoaming
  • High clamping capacity due to the large footprint of 3 folded legs formed on the blind side.
  • Functions well in elongated/oversize holes.
